Ladywood Neighbourhood Network Scheme
Creating Connected Communities
What we are
The Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) is a city-wide initiative funded by Birmingham City Council. It’s ultimate aim is to enrich the lives of adults over 50 and adults with a disability.
We work in partnership with the Ladywood Adult Social Work team to connect them up to groups who run meaningful health and wellbeing activities within their own communities. It helps social worker refers their clients to community based activities. This is part of Birmingham City Council’s wider prevention programme.
We help to develop community groups through training, funding and networking to build a sustainable network of community acitivity in Ladywood Constituency.
This site is to share information with Ladywood Community Groups and the Ladywood Adult Social Work team.
